At age 6, she was abandoned.
She can vividly recall that day. It was a cool summer day. Her mom dressed
her up in the best clothes that were meant to be reserved for weddings or
other special occasions. It was a pretty short-sleeve pink dress with lots
of white laces. There were a circle of decorative red flowers in the front
