Eclipse is the second choice after Vi/Vim.

cdt also did not work well about 3 years back, especially indexing.
slickedit is always a better choice for embedded and mix programming user.
if you like z-turn, eclipse offers more fun...
the other side, IntelliJ works like a charm out of the box.
And I have been using IntelliJ since v3, love it more than eclipse.

editing and will silently save your edits without you noticing it. Eclipse
is not perfect, but still way better than IntelliJ. Eclipse' more language
support and more tools is definitely a big win over intellij.

other tools running on.
you get what you pay for, that's the difference comparing to eclipse
platform. |
