At Quora, we work together as a team to solve some really difficult
engineering problems. We are a technology company, and our aim is to connect
you to everything you want to know about. We are looking for strong
engineers and product engineers to help us achieve our vision.
When we first partnered with InterviewStreet to provide our company problems
for CodeSprint 2, we were surprised at how well they were received. We
believe great engineering requires creative problem solving skills, and thus
we chose to contribute a few problems representative of what we do here on
a daily basis. This last Codesprint also led us to know of some amazing
competitive programmers out there looking for a good challenge, and we're
honored that many of them chose to apply to us.
This Saturday, we are happy to bring to you Codesprint Quora. This inaugural
company sprint features a total of 7 original Quora problems, introducing
you to more aspects of our Quora engineering infrastructure, including feed,
search, mobile, quality, browsers and trends.
This sprint is designed to seriously test your programming prowess on a wide
range of tasks ranging from algorithms and product design to machine
learning and data analysis. This comes from our intention to hire only the
very best engineers, product engineers and data analysts. Come and
