1. Scientist/Senior Scientist, Antibody Display Technology
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Scientist with strong
hands-on experience in antibody display (phage/yeast) to support discovery
research projects by screening to identify lead candidate therapeutic
antibodies, as well as engineering molecules for improved function.
Responsibilities:
Drive efforts to isolate, clone, build, and optimize biologics
molecules to support various therapeutic programs, using phage/yeast display
technology.
Utilize automated technologies for processing samples (QPix, TECAN,
iQue) and data management software.
Execute protein binding assays such as ELISA, FACS, and OCTET in a
high-throughput format.
Construct libraries for affinity maturation of clones.
Express, purifies and characterizes antibodies in biochemical and
functional
assays (e.g. affinity, activity).
Record and capture all necessary data for internal use and IND
filings.
Requirements:
PhD with 3-7 years, or MS with 5-10 years of experience in
Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology or related discipline.
Construct and manipulate Fab and scFv antibody libraries in order
to isolate antibodies against a number of targets for different therapeutic
disease areas
Oversee the molecular biology operations including isolation of RNA
from immunized animals; establish phage/yeast display libraries, panning/
sorting and evaluating resulting antibodies
Design and execution of selection and screening strategies to
isolate high affinity antibodies that meet criteria such as species cross-
reactivity and biological function
Experience in phage/yeast display antibody library construction a
strong plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
2. Group Leader, Antibody Engineering
We are looking for an energetic and dynamic Group Leader with initiative and
a collaborative spirit to serve as a leader in our antibody engineering lab
. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive the development of our novel
biologics platforms while providing leadership to our lab team.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and direct the activities of a scientific group in the
research and/or development of an organization's products, projects and
programs
Conduct and collaborate with others on basic research and
development relevant to long-term objectives and concerns
Develop strategies to ensure effective achievement of scientific
objectives of the lab
In silico evaluation of molecular properties, immunogenicity
assessment, stability assessment
Make key decisions on administrative or operational matters for the
lab
Select, develop and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient

Requirements:

3. Group Leader, Biologics Process Development
We are looking for an energetic and dynamic Group Leader with initiative and
a collaborative spirit to serve as a leader in our Biologics Process
Development lab. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive the CHO cell line
development and antibody scale up to make transition to CMC manufacturing
while providing leadership to our lab team.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and direct the activities of a scientific group in the
research and/or development of an organization's products, projects and
programs
Conduct and collaborate with others on basic research and
development relevant to long-term objectives and concerns
Develop strategies to ensure effective achievement of scientific
objectives of the lab
Generating stable cell lines for recombinant antibody expression
Lead the group to improve the yield of recombinant antibody
expression in
both transient and stable expression systems
Scale up recombinant antibody production to an industrial level
Keep good written and electronic records related to cell line
development to
support recombinant antibody manufacturing and process improvement
Interface with CMC department and/or CMO to provide on time and
accurate
material transfer support

Expertise working with mammalian expression systems, in particular

plus.

4. Scientist/Senior Scientist, Cell Line Development
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Scientist with strong
hands-on experience in developing methods to achieve high level of
recombinant antibody expression, and to transfer processes to manufacturing
to produce high quality antibodies.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the design, execution and analysis of studies to
narrow selection of candidate clones during cell line development projects
Data management from clone screen studies and from automation
systems operated for cell line development
Provide continued support for cell line development project
initiatives Requirements:
PhD with 3-7 years, or MS with 5-10 years of experience in Cell
Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or
related Scientific/Engineering field.
Strong background in mammalian cell culture; prior experience in
suspension cell culture of CHO cells preferred
Experience in suspension culture of CHO cell lines and small scale
bioreactor operation in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology setting.
Strong Scientific and Engineering expertise developing mammalian
cell line optimization and mammalian expression technologies for the
generation of monoclonal antibody and recombinant protein therapeutic
products.
Strong understanding of mammalian cellular physiology and mammalian
expression systems.
Expertise working with a variety of cell lines and mammalian
expression systems including CHO and NS0.
Expertise performing antibody characterization activities including
ELISA, SDS-PAGE, western blot, and Octet techniques.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
5. Scientist/Senior Scientist, Computational Biology
We are seeking an experienced Computational Biologist to join our Antibody
Engineering lab. The successful candidate will have prior experience in
method and software development for structural modeling of proteins and
protein:protein interactions.
Responsibilities:
Develop, validate, and implement computational algorithms and
software for three-dimensional structure modeling of antibodies and antibody
Statistical data mining and modeling for sequence:structure and
sequence: developability correlations
Identify and implement novel approaches to protein modeling
Interpret data and present work at both internal and external
meetings
Successfully collaborate with colleagues on the Antibody Discovery
and
Development teams
Requirements:
Ph.D. in Computational biology, Biophysics, Biochemistry, or a
related field
2-3 years of post-doctoral experience preferred
Hands-on experience using MOE, Discovery Studio, Schrodinger,

similar tools for protein structure modeling
Advanced knowledge of object-oriented software development using C+

other higher level languages preferred

6. Scientist/Senior Scientist, Novel Biologics
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Scientist with strong
hands-on experience in protein engineering and design to join our antibody
engineering lab.
Responsibilities:
Drive efforts to design and optimize bispecifc antibody platforms
to support various therapeutic programs.
Apply various engineering approaches to support the development of
lead bispecific antibody candidates with high affinity and good stability,
using techniques in molecular biology, biochemistry, and computational
modeling.
Requirements:
PhD with 3-7 years, or MS with 5-10 years of experience in
Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Structural Biology, Immunology or related
discipline.
Industry experience strongly preferred.
Prior experience with therapeutic antibody/protein engineering
projects
Experience in structure modeling of antibodies/proteins
Expertise utilizing techniques for antibody engineering, antibody
humanization, affinity maturation and antibody stabilization.
Familiarity with antibody properties and sequences.
Experience in Bispecific antibodies, therapeutic fusion proteins
and/or
other protein modalities a strong plus.
Familiar with computational tools for molecular biology and

7. Scientist/Senior Scientist, Protein Biochemistry
We are looking for an experienced protein biochemist to join our protein
chemistry lab. The ideal candidate is a team player, with a passion for
scientific research and drug screening, and possessing a broad knowledge of
protein chemistry, protein expression/purification. In addition, the
successful candidate will also have broad knowledge and experience of
molecular biology techniques such as cloning, plasmid construction, plasmid
DNA preparation and sequence verification.
Responsibilities:
Perform laboratory scale operations related to protein production (
bacterial cultivation, cell culture sup collection, dialysis, centrifuge,
and filtration)
Prepare buffer/medium for protein production and operate
conventional chromatography, FPLC for purification
Keep good written and electronic records related to protein
purification to support recombinant protein manufacturing and process
improvement
Analyze results of data and prepare recommendations for improvement
or trouble shooting
Requirements:
PhD with 3-7 years, or MS with 5-10 years of experience in
Analytical chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemistry or other relevant discipline.
Knowledge and experience in laboratory scale protein purification,
employing Hydrophobic Interaction Chromatography (HIC), Size Exclusion
Chromatography (SEC), Ion-Exchange (IEX), mixed mode chromatography and
affinity chromatography.
Experience with GE AKTA FPLC and unicorn software preferred.
Previous experience in the discovery and development of bispecific
antibodies is desired.
Hands on experience in analytical techniques including HIC-HPLC, LC
/MS, SEC,
IEX, RP-HPLC, DSC, and capillary electrophoresis (e.g. reduced and
non-reduced CE-SDS, icIEF).
