但被告知J-2回国重新签证时如果J1还没有转成H1还要受2年回国的限制，问一下

不好意思, 急问个问题, 那个已经成功的waiver不会失效有没有啥出处么. 我的waiver
今年6月1号approval, 然后在国内6月9号申请了新的J-1 visa, 新visa的issue
date是6月30号. 但是上面仍然写的是212(E) Two Year Rule Applies. 现在申请
转H-1b的时候, 学校坚持说因为我申请了新的J-1 Visa, 所以就自动导致了我的waiver
失效, 到底是不是这样呀.

of State手里
I have received the travel request for your wife. I am happy to sign the DS-
2019 for her. I did want to mention something important though. I noticed
that you have a waiver recommendation from U.S. Department of State. I don’
t know if your wife was included in the waiver request, however if she was,
it is possible that her waiver approval becomes void as it looks like she
would have to apply for a new J-2 visa based on her return date to the U.S.
The U.S. Department of State may make her a subject to the two year rule
again during visa issuance. It is in their discretion. | s**u

I understand new J visa is subject to 212(e).
