science at Idaho National Laboratory (INL). This position is jointly funded
by the Fuels Modeling & Simulations Department and
the Center for Advanced Modeling & Simulation at INL. We would like to hire
a postdoc to use molecular dynamics simulations to study oxygen transport at
different types of interfaces in zirconium dioxide and the mechanical
behavior of uranium dioxide under different types of driving forces. The
ideal candidates should have a solid background in molecular dynamics and
code development, good knowledge of materials science, a strong publication
record, and independent research ability. We have a great research
environment and many collaboration opportunities at INL. We provide
competitive salary and excellent employee benefits to postdocs. H1B visa
sponsorship to the qualified candidate is highly likely if needed.
Idaho National Laboratory is located at Idaho Falls, Idaho. The town is
