Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at MD Anderson Cancer Center,
Houston.
Duties & Responsibilities: Develop computational methods and perform
statistical analyses to interpret large-scale sequencing data towards
understanding the etiology and the evolution of cancer.
Qualifications: An ideal applicant is expected to have a strong career
interest and a record of success in scientific research; a Ph.D. in a
quantitative field such as bioinformatics, genetics and genomics, computer
science, engineering, math and physics; broad experience in
interdisciplinary research and demonstrated strength in at least one of the
following areas: algorithm design, statistical analysis, and cancer biology.
Salary and Benefits: Salaries and benefits are highly competitive.
Duration: 3 years with possible extension.
