We are seeking highly motivated individuals for two to three postdoc
positions
available immediately in the research areas of i) fabrication and testing
for highefficiency
multi-junction solar cells, ii) device processing for Si solar cells (or
related Si devices), and iii) modeling, growth, characterization for
selforganized
3D quantum dots and 2D heterostructures such as type-II
superlattice. Applicants should have strong background in one of the areas
mentioned above. Application should be sent directly to Rebecca Davis
(r***********[email protected]). More detailed information can be found on the web
http://asumbe.eas.asu.edu/.
Prof. Yong-Hang Zhang’s research group has an newly upgraded dual-chamber
MBE system equipped with Ga, Al, In, As, Sb, Bi, and P source cells and with
Si,
Te, and Be doping cells on one chamber, while the other chamber has new
effusion
cells (Cd, Zn, Be, and Mg), valved cells (Se and Te), and doping/surfactant
cells
(Al, In, Ga, P, and Bi.). This dual-chamber system will enable the MBE
growth of
(MgBeCdZn)(SeTe) and (AlGaIn)(PAsSbBi) materials and devices with excellent
control of the compositions for ternary/quaternary alloys and various doping
concentrations. The group has excellent optical spectroscopic setups. The PL
systems can cover the wavelength range from 350 nm to 12 μm for
temperatures
between 10K and 350K. A FTIR spectrometer covers a wavelength range from UV
to 25 μm. The group also has full access to many material characterization
tools
such as XRD, SEM/EDS, AFM, and high resolution TEM. Prof. Zhang’s group
also
has a complete solar cell spectral quantum efficiency system, a calibrated
silicon
solar cell, a Class A 4”×4” beam solar simulator, and a smaller solar
simulator. The
quantum efficiency test setup is equipped with bias lamps and LEDs to allow
multijunction
solar cell testing in a cryostat (10-400K) for temperature dependent QE
and I-V measurements. A probe station with TE cooling is available for IV
testing
under the large Class A solar simulator. In addition, the group has full
access to a
state-of-the-art 4000 ft2 in-house Class-100 cleanroom facility. This
facility has all
the necessary tools to fabricate optoelectronic and electronic devices. | D*********0 发帖数: 750 | 2 I heard that professor is so mean..............especial for chinese post-doc
