Yes, that is a reason why everybody should quit "qianlao" as soon as
possible.
After I started my first industry job, my paycheck became biweekly, but with
the amount as my postdoc monthly check. No mentioning my 6% 401 K match and
>5% bonus (quite low in industry already).
I started my work at 9:00 AM, and left my office at 5:00 AM (no any OT). I
have 20 days fixed PTO a year, so I can go back to China to visit my family
freely.
It should be mentioned that the company I am working in for now is already
famous for its low pay and relaxed worklife.
In conclusion: Postdoc is really a slave. I quited my postdoc 2 monthes
after I got my greencard.. | a*****y

都是在面对边界条件下优化到不能再优化了
