Dr. Quan Liu's laboratory in the School of Chemical and Biomedical
Engineering at Nanyang Technological
University is seeking qualified persons for TWO post-doctoral research
fellow positions in the field of
biomedical optics. This laboratory focuses on the development of novel
biomedical optics/biophotonics
technology for medical diagnostics and treatment. The successful candidate
will be involved in developing
optical imaging techniques for tissue characterization and photothermal
therapy for cancer treatment in
clinical applications. The candidate should have hand-on experience in
biomedical optics, applied optics or
other relevant fields. The salary will be determined in accordance with NTU'
s policy. The initial contract will
be one year and could be extended depending upon mutual interests. For more

Qualifications:
The candidate should have a PhD degree in Engineering, Analytical Chemistry,
Applied Physics/Biophysics,
Optical Engineering or related fields. Research experience in optical
spectroscopy and imaging,
photothermal therapy or photodynamic therapy, or related biophotonics areas
is preferred. Strong self-
motivation and excellent communication skills are essential.
