我是来美3年的博后，J1签证没换过，一直呆在A学校，DS2019有效期至2011年4月份。
去年5月份回国
一趟，反签给了1年的有效期，至今年的5月31号过期，想趁过期之前再回国一趟。几天
前刚刚拿到B学
校的博后offer，要办J1transfer
目前状况是：
我已经订好04/28 从A到CHINA，05/24从CHINA到B的机票，入关的时候 准备用A学校的
DS2019.但
是，B学校说这样有风险，有可能入关时候被拒。如果想要回国，要么：1.在回国之前
，去B学校check
in,办好transfer再回去。或者 2.从中国返回A，办理好transfer，然后再去B。因为A
和B离的比
较远，这两条好像都不可行。我疑惑的是，为啥一定要亲自去B才能办理transfer，难
道不能先寄给我
新的DS2019，我用B的DS2019回国？或者为啥我一定要从国内回到A才能办理Transfer，
难道不能在
我回国期间办理吗？

发帖数: 2142 | 2 j1 transfer必须要在下家check in才能办理吗？好像我们实验室走的博后先transfer得
似的，应该给了并offer就可以办理transfer了吧，或者需要填表的话让B给你寄过来就
算 报道了？很多可以FAX办理也不耽误时间

以下是B学校的回复，不知道有没有人知道他们说的是否正确。
In theory he can travel to China on his current, newly extended DS-2019 for
A University and re-enter on that DS-2019. However, if he is not planning
on going back to A but will instead come to the B, there is a risk that he
will be denied entry to the U.S. if the Customs and Border Patrol Officer
ascertains that he is not re-entering the U.S. to continue his program at A,
which is the purpose of his current DS-2019.

你如果有B的offer，他们会让你签字啊，还有一些表格，不用先到学校报道啊
