发帖数: 469 | 1 A huge 7.8-magnitude earthquake rocked southwestern China on Monday
afternoon (12 May 2008). Over 14,866 have been killed and over 25,000 are
still buried. More than 16 regions including Sichuan, Gansu, Chongqing and
Yunnan have been affected. The earthquake was felt as far away as Beijing
and Shanghai, and Pakistan, Thailand, and Vietnam. This is the deadliest and
strongest earthquake to hit China since the 1976 Tangshan Earthquake.
