many as you like and want.
If you are lucky, there is a great club close by, easy to access, and also
the KEY is there are a lot of different styles of players in the club, and
classes by great coaches... |

10 tables: Palo Alto, Concord, maybe one in SF, i never heard of any
full-time... |

fun to go to clubs to play than just playing in your company or
garages.
TT is a small sports, like a big family, only when you join a local
club and start to seriously compete do you start to feel a part of

organizations/clubs as designated training center “Hot Spots” under a
program organized by ITTF Executive Director of Education and Training,
Mikael Andersson. Three USATT Clubs were recognized for inclusion in the
program:
ICC Table Tennis Center, Milpitas, CA
The Top Spin, San Jose, CA

in the program. Upon receipt of the applications the ITTF requested that
USATT review the applications and endorse those felt to meet the minimal
specifications described by the ITTF. We assembled an interview panel that
consisted of the Chairs of our Clubs Advisory Committee, our Coaching
Advisory Committee, our High Performance Committee, the Co-Chair of our
Athlete Advisory Committee, our High Performance Director and the CEO. We
then conducted teleconference interviews with the applicant clubs before
submitting our endorsements of each. We are very excited about the inclusion
of our clubs in this program as it reflects positively on them and programs
in the future.

too, let alone Greece Lin's club. NYC has a very high standard
fashionable club.
I am glad there are 2 clubs from bay area, but they are just 5 miles
away:-).... Would it be better to replace ICC with Gao Jun's club
at LA? (Erica Wu) |

since they are just way too close by.
i would like to see a HUGE TT club combining the above 2 clubs
with 50 tables, 200 kids as USATT national training center, at
least 2 2800 level coaches, prefer one shakehand, one penholder.
Then, it will be top 3 best in the world! |
