than TT players, compare the national teams, both in men's side
or women's side.
there is almost no guys in badminton team could be as fat as Ma Lin
or Wang Hao.
It has been over 100 years, ppl grow taller, run faster, but the TT
tables keep the same side.
If the table becomes bigger, like 20 cm wider and longer, then you
will see a lot more fitter world class players. |

more $$ than TT players.

watch, maybe more americans love to play, in which cases more $$ would
be attracted to this games.
USA leads the world, the culture, movies, music and $$, TT has not yet
become as close to tennis, one of the reasons is the level in USA is
way too lower.

need to reform to be more spectacular.

制，可是如果变了球台这个game 可能就是另外一项运动了。不知道有没有大幅改动硬
件标准使运动更有吸引力的先例？
以前我也总觉得pp不怎么带劲儿，象老人小孩胖子瘦子甚至是残疾人的运动，后来慢慢
接受了pp就是pp,它自有魅力。它的‘弱点“ 也许就是它的特点和存在的根本。而且象
任何竞技体育一样，其乐无穷，有趣健康，更快更稳更转。而且还环保绿色，比高尔夫
球场那样的浪费强多了。
打到一定级别，比如2400+的那些人，都是身体素质超群的，可能不是肌肉和形体美，
但是手眼配合极佳、静如处子、动如脱兔，杀气逼人、气场如虹，看起来震撼和过瘾，
不输那些大球。

很多高尔夫球场就是大型的垃圾坟埋场，挖得很深，下面要填10-20层的垃圾，然后每
一层再倒上生物/化学降解剂，反倒是环保的呢

有些运动就是要求个子矮小
F1里面 基本要求1.7m 高了 赛车设计就是一个大问题 像web那样的1.8 就算长人了
但是这些矮子 挣得可不是一般的多 也没有谁要求去增加赛车体积 吸纳长人 当然了
美国人有nascar
拿一次世界冠军 提高一下奖学金 不仅仅是亚裔 应该还是有不少老美会去打乒乓的 反正
我见到的老美 也不是以拉出来就是 1.8m 矮小的也很多 体操队就有不少

换我也一样，几个million给那些吃不饱饭的孩子多好，能打球的都是吃饱撑的，用不

yes, short guys have gymnast and diving ...
if Deng, as 149cm could play world champion, after 20cm enlarge of
the table, i think, the average 170cm can handle it perfect.
the key is the game is too fast, also the point finishes too soon.
by enlarging the table, we will have the net 2 cm higher, and choose
the 44mm ball.
the ball still is made of the same material, the racket is same,
so it is still classic tt, u see: the average guy 100 years ago was
at least 10cm shorter, we are perfect fine with the enlargement.
Actually, there are senior TT tournaments in Japan which would
use 44mm ball s.t. the game is slower, one point lasts longer.

hardbat, and choppers were dominating the game, so it was slower,
and easier for general audience to watch.
Due to the sponge, and new technology, we have to enlarge the table/
raise the net/bigger ball, to make the sports as easy to watch as
60 years ago. |
