俺一转上Base, 猛然发现地速是相当的快阿, 这个弯还没转完, 就已经错过跑道了, 等转向final, 飞机都偏到另一侧的downwind位置了. 拼命往回飞阿, 到了thershold, 才飞到正确的航线上,而且有很大的crab角度. 172的Demonstrated crosswind velocity是15节. Side slip + crab把飞机降了下去,接地是绝对的greaser.

So I went around twice today. 4B7, such a lovely airport situated
between the hills. Airport info says recommended landing Rwy 16,
that's what I took, initially. Turned out there was pretty stiff
tail wind from the northwest, 10+ knots. So I went around twice,
and finally made a tear drop 180 and landed on 34. And then you
realize why the recommended landing rwy is 16 --- there were high
hills on the right side of approach path of 34, and tree tops
sticking into final of 34. Approach had to be pretty steep although
could be done with a small aircraft. I was in a CT LightSport.
It was nice after landing though. It's just a one-runway airport
with no gates no facilities. At least we didn't find any gates to
go to. And there was nobody else. One could lie on the runway or
the grass. Blue skys above and red leaves around.
At KLKP I saw a very small and light lightsport taildragger
aircraft. At first I thought it could only fit one person. But
actually there were two seats in there. And there was oxygen
feeds. I wonder if that means the aircraft can go up very high.

不过如果真是连续go around两次的话, 我要找个地方hold一下, 考虑分析一下当前的
情况.
其实当时我在Downwind上听到这个消息以后,基本就把降BJC做为一个备选方案了,因为
我知道BJC的跑道更长更宽, 离这里不到10NM, 而且它的跑道是11-29. 如果真go
around两次, 我也会飞去BJC的.
