invites applications for one postdoctoral research position starting now. A
second year renewal is dependent on performance and funding availability.
The successful candidate will work on the development of independent dose
calculation and optimization for pencil beam scanning proton therapy
treatment of moving tumors. Training in radiation therapy physics, including
treatment planning and dosimetry, will be offered to complete the post-
doctoral fellow’s education by a CAMPEP accredited PhD certificate program.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in physics or computer science or mathematics.
Experience in Medical Physics such as treatment planning optimization and
Monte Carlo simulations, programming skills using C++ and Matlab, and strong
paper writing skills are preferred.
