A faculty at Mechanical, Materials and Aerospace Engineering Department of
Illinois Institute of Technology (located in Chicago, US) is looking for a
Ph.D student (starting from Spring 2014), who is interested in the research
work in laser-material interactions and laser-based manufacturing and
materials processing. If you are interested, please email your short resume

Highly-motivated students with strong backgrounds in one or several areas of
heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and continuum or atomic scale modeling of
thermal/fluid transport, materials processing, and manufacturing processes
are encouraged to apply. An earned M.S degree (before Spring 2014) in
engineering, physics, or related fields is strongly preferred.
