发帖数: 185 | 7 丫嫁了个老美，那个老美也在康奈尔物理系，做讲师，假期就进她lab做lab assistant.
丫组的学生没7年是不可能毕业的。
丫组除了光镊没有其他技术，总之技术单调。
丫最近风头很劲，居然拿到了howard hues 奖，不愁钱用了。
还有很多，就不8了

Block. 荷兰的Gijs Wuite。 都只用光镊做出了很多很酷的实验。。。单分子实验非
常难设计和完成，现在都是Angstrom量级的single nucleotide spatial resolution和
subpicoNewton量级的力，所以要长一点时间毕业也比较正常。 |

just saying that a longer term for getting a PhD may be due to the nature
of her work.
Anyway, she is so far the FIRST researcher on Cornell's Ithaca campus to be
named HHMI investigator, so I see no reason that people keep not joining her
lab only because of the timing issue.
