enhancement technology. DRO divides the image into small areas, analyzes the
range of brightness of each area, and adjusts the camera's image processing
parameters accordingly to make the best use of the available dynamic range.
The Sony A55 enables Auto DRO by default. You can also set the level
manually, from 1 ("weak") to 5 ("strong"). As one would expect, DRO is only
available for JPEG files.
