The photos are nice and sharp most of the time,
but if you're looking closely, the 18-105mm is
Nikon's fuzziest lens in the corners at 18mm.
Even the $100 18-55mm is better.... For not much
more, I could get the superior metal-mount 16-85mm
VR or 18-200mm VR instead, either of which is also
superior to the 18-105mm.

in its range, and also shaper than 18-55 VR as well. The peformance/price
rate is much better than 18-200.

发帖数: 1002 | 11 Though I disagree with Ken's assessment (he may have gotten a bad sample), I
do have used both 18-105VR and 18-200VR extensively. I still keep my 18-
200VR because there's really nothing to replace it. 18-105VR is OK, but
nothing stands out. It's usually sell about $200-$250 from D90 kit buyers
who upgraded to 18-200.
Frankly, I'd rather use 18-55VR cause from 55-105, the differences aren't
very significant especially when the open aperture is small...
