一般不读这些人瞎白虎的东西，这次竟然有耐心看完了。有时候片子外的东西比片子更
有意思。
Behind me was an overweight man on a bicycle. He came past us on the bridge,
and initially we expected him to just go on his way. Was a few moments of
us shooting, in our own little world, before we noticed he was just off to
the side, still on his bike, watching.
He had to be in his early sixties, not particularly well put-together, just
a bit of the creepy old man who'll lead little kid you into the back of his
fan with the promise of very exotic candies.
Still on his bike, faint smile on his face, watching.
Figured him for a spectator, it happens, I was with two remarkably
attractive women as they posed fetchingly, it wasn't shocking to see folks
occasionally stop or slow for a moment to take a gander.
Figured him for one of those, kept on with the shoot.
But after five minutes, he was still there. Still on his bike, faint smile
on his face, watching.
"Hi there. How's it goin?" "Oh, fine, fine. I'm with the park." "Ah. Yeah.
Okay."
He was not with the park. He was dressed like a hobo understudy for Mr.
Rogers.
Then he started talking on a cell phone. There was no one on the other end,
I'd have bet my savings on it.
Still on his bike, talking to his imaginary friend, faint smile on his face.
Watching.
I surreptitiously took a photo of him, so the detectives could feel
brilliant when they found our killer amongst the contents of my memory card.
"Well lookee here. The kid knew. The kid's TELLING us who the killer is!"
When I think of it, I assume the detectives are old enough that I am, to
them, a kid.
Then he rode away. Ten minutes of watching and fake talking on a maybe fake
cellphone, then he rode away on his real bike.
And we laughed and giggled nervously, glad this dude hadn't tried to murder
us.
Fact: nothing ruins a shoot like being murdered by an old hipster hobo.
AND THEN HE CAME BACK.... | m******1
