What is your favorite place to visit
on
weekends?’.
1.One of your friends is afraid of making public speech in English.
What would you suggest him to do to overcome the fear? Give your reasons
and examples to support your answer.
2.One of your friends is going to an interview. What suggestions you
would give him to have a successful interview? Give reasons and examples
to support your answer.
you are going to join a club, what kind of club you will join?
you prefer to spend your leisure time, indoors or outdoors?”.
Reason 1- to be physically active. Reason
2- to relax after a busy week of work.
Do you
agree the following statement:Rich people should give money to the
poor’.
Task 1 : In my view/As far as I am concerned, I would give the following
TWO suggestions to my friend/I would join a hiking club for TWO reasons.
First, (reason 1). For example, …; Second, (reason 2). For example, …
That’s why I think the suggestions are very important for a successful
interview/That’s why I would like to join the hiking club.
Task 2: In my view/As far as I am concerned, I would prefer… for TWO
reasons. First, (reason 1). For example,…; Second, (reason 2). For
example…. That’s why I prefer…
以我看来,前两道题至关重要。答得好不但鼓舞士气,更会给评分人一个良好的印象;
Task 3:在给出的 notice/announcement/policy中,必有一句‘题眼’。
notice到底是有关什么,what is the CHANGE about?。
[With the decrease of students interested in the evening class, the
university decided to discontinue it. This decision was made because the
number of students for the evening class has declined for the past few
years and more students prefer to study with an experienced faculty
member. Students who already registered for the evening class are
required to change their schedule, or refunds will be applicable for
those who cannot meet the schedule.]
题眼是the university will discontinue the evening class. THAT’S IT! 找到这
句话之后,接着在文中找两点原因 (two reasons of the CHANGE). 第一,
decreased
number of students for the evening class. 第二,more students prefer to
study with an experienced faculty member.
REASON
1), R2 (REASON 2).
stud in
even class. R2 填↑stud to study w/ exp.
In the announcement, the university will (discontinue the evening class;
CHANGE) and provide two reasons for the change. The woman/man in the
conversation likes/doesn’t like the announcement and supports/opposes
each reason. First, she/he says…. Second, she thinks…. That’s why she/he
likes/doesn’t like the announcement. |
m*****5 发帖数: 438 | 4 Task 4: 在纸上预先写好T(title), D(definition), E(example)。
Forgetting
Forgetting is a casual or gradual process in which old memories are
unable to be recalled from the memory storage. How humans encode, store
and recall memories is unknown, but it contributes to a phenomenon of
short term memory which is categorized as either decay theory which
states that passage of time always increases forgetting after something
new is learned, or the interference theory, which takes effect when the
recall of a certain memory interferes by recall of another memory.
in
which old memories are unable to be recalled from the memory storage’.
The article discusses (Forgetting; TITLE), which is defined in the
passage as (the casual/gradual process in which old memories are unable
to be recalled from the memory storage; DEFINITION). The professor
provides an example of (EXAMPLE) to illustrate this. He/she explains……
And so, this example clearly illustrates FORGETTING. |
option。
The man’s/woman’s problem is that (...; 不要说太多,3句话即可). He/She
doesn’t
know what to do. Here the students discuss two solutions. First, ... (一句
话);Second, … If I were the man/woman, I would choose the SECOND
The first solution isn’t very good because
even
The second solution is better because
even though (选项2的缺点) ,(选项2的优点).
T(title), D(definition), E1(example
1),
E2 (example 2).
The lecture discusses (T), which is defined as (D). The professor explains
two types/kinds. The first type is (… He/she provides an example
of (E1) to illustrate this. He/she explains…; The second type is (… 一句
话). The professor use (E2) as an example to illustrate this. He/she
explains…
