发帖数: 25 | 1 各位牛牛，PharmD在读和即将在读的，或者已经工作的，我想问一下大家，有没有考虑
毕业之后去制药公司工作？
美国的制药公司都是规模很大，待遇很好的。无论是新药的研发阶段，上市过程，在市
场上销售或是医生开处方，还是在公司与FDA打交道的方方面满都很需要药学的expert
。但是为什么大部分的PharmD毕业生都是想在药房做Pharmacist呢？
有没有想去Industry的？比如做consultant，clinical affairs，marketing之类的？
或者去hosipital里做？工作不是更加有趣有挑战？
希望大家给我答疑解惑 ^^ |

发帖数: 1214 | 2 There are many good positions in the pharma for pharmacists. However, my
understanding are that first of all, it is not as easy to get into industry
as to retails. Many of the positions lz mentioned do not sponsor H-1B. 2nd,
industry jobs may not be as stable as retails, many times industries go
though cycles. 3rd, industry does not pay as much right now, either.
Just my thoughts. |

是都有了绿卡后才读么。其实大的制药公司还是很稳定的，小的start－up才会不太稳
定。我想大部分各位还是比较保守的选择做retial pharmacist是因为不知道其实还有
其他的职业选择吧？不知道我理解的对不？
有没有已经在制药公司做的出来讲讲呀？

发帖数: 4883 | 4 Lots of pharmacy graduates in the east coast go to industry, e.g. Rutgers.
Most pharmacy schools are located in places without industry jobs so the
students don't have exposure to industry settings.

发帖数: 490 | 5 industry的职位有没有connection很重要，还有fellowship。我当时对药厂很有兴趣，
最后一年做了两个药厂的rotation，轻省倒是挺轻省的，不过有点儿boring。看你想干
嘛了。基本在药厂待时间长了，再想回clinical就不太容易了。
给办h1b的地方不少吧，反正我没卡。

发帖数: 689 | 6 At least I haven't seen a lot of opening in pharmaceutical companies. I would
like to deal with people than policy and machines. Pharmacists meet a lot
of people everyday. It is more interesting than doing paper works at office
by yourself. For some female pharmacists, money and easy life are always
more charming than challenging and interesting. |
