发帖数: 607 | 1 找遍了local的drugstore pharmacy， 都不要volunteer，除非正式做intern，get
paid的employee。可是我现在还是RA，又不能另外打工，不然我还巴不得有额外的钱拿
呢。都不知道怎么办好。那些地方倒是大多愿意提供drop shadow的机会。难不成我要
把当地的pharmacy都drop shadow一遍么。。。这样加起来小时数倒不少，不知道会不
会有用。
另外现在在医院做volunteer，和pharmacy没关联，不知道有用不。。。

发帖数: 3328 | 5 你不要去big company,他们不会要volunteer的,hospital更不行了,因为有liability阿
,虽然不给你钱,但是你出错谁负责阿?所以最好volunteer的地方是independent
pharmacy,不过也是要绿卡或者工卡的,如果是中国人开的pharmacy,你可以try一下看看
他肯不肯take risk.
总之没有身份的前提下,找volunteer也会到处碰壁的,你要做好准备 |

my friend did it last yr in a local hospital. I had an opportunity too
couple yrs ago, though i didn't take it.
check out the volunteer dept. most hospitals should have that.

last year, I spent some time in looking for a hospital. Many hospitals
accept the volunteers in Pharmacy, but they required to work in the weekday
not weekend. I am RA too, so I negotiated with them. Finally, they let me to
work there in the morning around 7-9, then I went to the lab as usual.
most of the pharmacy only let volunteer to do very simple works, such as
replacing the returned medications. No responsibilty at all. i didn't learn
a lot from there but got a stron |

if you absolutely cannot find anything pharmacy-related, you should still
try to gain some volunteer experience, it'll still help on your pharmacy
application
