March 6 (Bloomberg) -- Schering-Plough Corp. rose the most in a month today
in New York trading on speculation the drugmaker may be a takeover target
for Johnson & Johnson and Merck & Co.
Schering-Plough rose $1.31, or 8 percent, to $17.63 in New York Stock
Exchange composite trading, the most since Feb. 3, when it reported that
