Is this major easy to apply? How about the future career?
Please do me a faovr to give me some suggestion , thanks! | r***o 发帖数: 162 | 2 tons of jobs, but not so easy to get in
Incredibly boring to some people, while incredibly insteresting to others.
PM != Clin Pharm
PM = some Clin Pharm + some Modeling + some Simulation + some Statistics
No program in the US offers such a major in PM.

PM is mainly data analysis (modeling and simulation), Clin pharm is more
clinical biased, such as trial design.
there are several good programs in the US. Buffalo, Minnesota, Washington,
Tennessee, U Penn, Pittsburgh, UCSF, and USC all have programs to educate
PMs
It is a hot area now because FDA like it. | s*****d 发帖数: 110 | 5 谢谢楼上的!
中国人学这个好找工作么? 会不会有特别的要求啊???? | r***o 发帖数: 162 | 6 Those school all educate PMs? Just out of curiousity, are you in one of
those schools? The only reason why students from those school might find PM
jobs is there is no PM program in the US.

PM
yes, those programs all educate PMs. There is a paper published couple
months ago discussed the detail PM programs around the world. Sweden, New
Zealand, and German all have similar programs. I am in Clin Pharm but I also
do some PM analysis. The problem now is that PM program is not providing
enough PMs. I guess most program has max 2-3 PhDs graduates each year while
industry need more than that.

If I remember correct:
Buffalo, Jusko only PK/PD no PM,
Minnesota, PK some PK/PD no PM
Washington, in the bioengineerin department
Tennessee, only a couple of so so people
U Penn, Jeff just started a program
Pittsburgh, only a couple of so so people
UCSF, only post-doc
USC, bioengineering
And you are missing schools, such as Maryland, VCU, UC, u Florida, etc,
students from which may also find PM jobs.
also
