Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. executives this afternoon announced 4,800 job cuts
worldwide at the company as part of a plan to save $1.5 billion over the
next three years.
Some 1,300 people have already been told their jobs will be cut, and 3,500
will be notified by the end of 2008. It's not known how many of those job
cuts will come from the East Syracuse plant which employs | s********s
