This is my first complaint ever on bbs. I had always been a loyal customer
of Target Store until today! This was what had happened to me.
Target store address:
5300 S MoPac Expy, Austin, TX
Right after Christmas, I bought an expensive Christmas tree from this store
(7.5 ft. Pre-Lit Philips Balsam Fir Artificial Christmas Tree- Illuminate
Technology- Multi-Color Lights; original price $514). I bought it at half
price with Target red card and gift card. After I got home, I found some
small items missing. I went back to the store and they issued me a 10%
discount in Target gift card. In about FIVE WEEKS, the lights stopped
changing colors! So I took my tree in the original package with Target's
name on it back to the store. They told me they could NOT issue me a refund
since I did not have the receipt. I was blamed for not keeping the receipt
. I felt strange since they should be able to locate the transaction based
on the information that I gave them. I gave them the Target Red Card but
they could NOT locate the information. They denied me the refund. Instead
they gave me a $10 gift card. The next morning, I called Target.com
customer service and told them about my store experiences. I was given a
ref # for my case and was asked to go back to the store and have the store
people call customer service. I was assured that they could do something
about it. So I went back to the store and had the store people call the
customer service. To my greatest anger, Target customer service decided to
side with the store people. I felt humiliated and harassed! Why did Target
customer service asked me to go back to the store and assure me that they
could do something about it. I am a computer engineer. I know that all the
transactions should be kept as a record. I am surprised that this target
store couldn't find my transaction information in this day and age with all
the advanced computer technologies. I am sure they would have a way to find
the transaction if they wanted to. But apparently they didn't! I am very
disappointed at their IT or customer service!
Target product qualities have become major issue. Last year, the furnitures
I bought there had scratches! A bar stool was not able to have its height
adjusted! I have been gradually more and more disappointed at Target unitl
this one that became the last straw on Camal's back. I will boycott Target
from now on. This store is no longer what it used to be!!! |

来。但客服让顾客回店里然后再让店里羞辱顾客一番,这实在是很难接受。说明target
客服管理混乱,缺乏对顾客的起码尊重。如果我是这位顾客恐怕也会永远告别target。 |

Although all the transactions should be kept as a record, honestly I haven't
seen any store giving a refund without receipt.

现在用信用卡都可以找到的 商家都会找的 所以我也没太在意小票。我用的还是他家自
己的卡。
我退货时 其它客户告诉我这家店一直退货和客服有问题 建议我换家店。我没这么做。
这是产品质量出了问题。包装上还有target的名字。我肯定没有骗他们。我买的是半价
,现在他家网站还在卖是打7折。我这家店不会做事。他们一直把自己网站当作竞争对
手。

Most unopened items in new condition and returned within 90 days will

receipt may be denied a refund or exchange.
Kohls没小票可以locate记录,也是人家明白说了的,这种你才有信心不在意小票吧。
我也是够闲的
Need to return or exchange an item without a packing slip? No problem. Our
store Associates can locate Kohl's Charge purchases up to 12 months after
the purchase date, and the credit can be applied to your account. Non-Kohl's
Charge purchases, or purchases made outside the 12 month timeframe qualify
for a Kohl's Merchandise Credit or a corporate-issued refund. |

然我去干嘛?我肯定去找生产厂商。谁愿意过年抱个树去店里退货?!
Target 的IT一直都不行,我买东西的店利用了系统的缺点而不是站在客户的角度处理
问题。
再说了,回收一下 联系厂商修一下肯定卖得出去, 价格还更高。这是Philips 的新款
产品,厂商肯定得和大的销售商得有合作。

Clearance的东西很有可能在系统里不保留90天,所以即使你有红卡,也有可能找不到
交易的。这次事件最大的问题是你没有收据,Target没有收据也可以退东西,只要系统
里还有这个东西,就按历史最低价给你退,但是这种没收据的退货有一年的限额是70美
金的规定,你的树500,半价要250,所以有可能就不能退了。
还有一个问题,Target节后打折最高到90%,你的树500块最后也就50块,没有收据给你
50块你干么? |

其实你应该投诉电话客服,他可能没闹清原委,凭一面之词断定可以退,导致你白跑一
趟,到了店里再通话,听了店方解释,又跟小二穿一条裤子了,变来变去,着实可恶。
这种承诺性质的,要记下客服名字,你记了么?如果在店里打电话又换了一个客服,那
么更加不奇怪了。
不给退这事儿本身而言,target没什么大错.

Brought a television that didn't work with AT&T the manager said it was a
television company issue. I said well I just spend $500 at Target, it should
be a Target and television company issue. I was sent packing my 4 day old
new television. Won't be spending cash at this store, which happens to be
less than a half mile away. I'll drive else where to do Target when I decide
to go back. :-( |

WARNING! Electronics are not returnable. Customer service not very friendly
and a bit incompetent.
I bought a blue-tooth speaker set (<$50) after asking the very helpful
electronics staff if i could return if didn't work properly with my new iPAD
. they said... sure, no problem. well, the speakers didn't work as it said
they would on the box (design defect not individual failure), so i brought
them back. Customer service was a bit rude, but i don't mind unfriendly
myself, as long as you are competent.. they called over the manager and the
customer service rep mis-stated what i had indicated was the problem, and
then made a face when i corrected her statement. the mgr never introduced
himself, or asked my name, or any friendly intro - he listened then he
indicated that electronics are not returnable. period. if they are not
working then they can only be exchanged for the same item! he pointed out
that it's "pollicy" and i could read it myself. he stated this several
times over and over... then asked which specific sales person said i could
return the items... clearly he wanted to provide some specific measure of
correction onto this sales person (I didn't tell him, the elec staff is
pretty helpful really). after being a bit firm with my stance, and raising
my voice a small bit, he indicated that he would do me a "favor" and give me
store credit (hence the 2 starts instead of 1). have to say the mgr didn't
get emotional about the situation, which was a plus. but he clearly isn't
generating a customer friendly environment.
well, most Targets allow for elec returns, but clearly national target
policy indicates otherwise and this mgr was sticking to the letter of the
target law.. well, i went to walmart, and asked, and there is no problem
with returning electronics... i don't agree with walmart's policies in
general (employee, etc), but they do allow returns. so we now are using
some chinese electronics at home from walmart instead of target. best buy
charges 15% restocking fee, so that's a non-starter also. overall, not sure
where is the best place to purchase electronics with the ability to return
(Fry's if you have one is probably the best place). i'll still go to target
for other items though as they seem to have a better employee policy (
insurance etc) for the most part. |

很多店Holiday, Seasonal的东西Clearance都是Final的,有问题找厂家,跟商家无关
了。
给你找出来人家的Policy说了,Clearance没发票不给退Target有错么?最多你只能
Complain 800客服不熟悉业务让你白跑一趟。
人家不给你退,我不认为是Target的错。

你第一次店给你10%的gc,其实是这么操作的,用你买的收据return,全部换成了gc,
然后用新出来的那个gc,再买了一次减掉10%的树,你红卡其实记录你已经return了,
所以后来找不到交易记录。

I tend to agree. That's why they declined to check their transaction
records. I was and am disappointed at their irresponsible behavior. They
feel like a store in China. Once money's exchanged, they don't care about
the rest. |

Transaction,你明明知道已经是两个不同的Transaction了。
你那个GC还在么?用这个GC可以Locate你的Transaction。

smarter than the buyers. The store encouraged their people to do this.
They should have refunded it to the red card and gave me the discount.
However, they should still be able to locate all the transactions if they
think on behalf of the customers and care about their product quality and
brand image. |

testing. They suspected some parts were wrong but they didn't have such
parts any more. They said they would be able to replace the parts for me
this coming fall when they were manufacturing them again. So it's not too
bad from the manufacturer.
Target was totally disappointing in this case! Their IT, custom care, and
the local store! Very disorganized! |

transaction 你就忘了吧,因为你的红卡上那个已经return了,target customer
service系统没办法track,你就是找store manager也没办法找出来,系统只会告诉你
卡上所有记录都没有你买过这个东西。

小二推给我的是在红卡上而不是gc。我最近忙所以记不清了。查了一下红卡消费才发现
钱的确是退到红卡上了。
这样说来 用红卡是应该能查得到了。我觉得很奇怪为什么这家店没查到。这家店看来
是有问题。
我记得店里的经理建议我在craigslist上把树卖给别人。主要功能都没了 能值什么钱
