很奇怪的是，当天收到自动语音电话通知第二天送货，
结果第二天早上接到附近Lowe's店来的电话说没货，自动语音通知错了，
冰箱还是要1月下旬送。结果，钱已经在信用卡上posted, 难道不该是
送货前charge吗？还有，这台lg很久才会送，如果lowe's再搞错，最终
断货，我再下单重新买，岂不是错过感恩节的优惠价？ | g***e

如果你定的冰箱，店里有展示，而且小二说有库存，那几天就会送货；如果是online
only或者虽店里有，但是贴着条说special order，那就要等Lowes从制造商仓库下订单
提货了。
像LG、三星这种，本地只有两个仓库（CA/NY），弹性不大，如果卖断了，只有等下一
艘货船到港了。

不过在appliance方面我觉得sears更厉害一些，在工具这方面也是。我们家旁边的
sears常年没人，不知道如何盈利的，小东西都很贵，比lowes贵。
话说homedepot也牛的，东西比lowes贵，可是人家生意看起来就是不错。 | n*******d

Sears的产品不错，价格也便宜，不过它力推Kenmore。

499,感恩节是399，当然现在在网上order可以减去35刀，还有cash back
到时候去店里就没cash back之类的了。若是当天也可以online order就太好了。我也
不用搬运了。

有一个没有坏过, refrigerator, range, range hood, dishwasher, microwave,
washer, dryer. So, I will never buy another GE appliance again.
Sears 自己并不生产家电. 它家的 Kenmore Brand 实际上都是其它厂家生产的, 多数
是 Whirlpool. You can ask the sales person, and they should and will tell
you who the actual manufacturer is for a particular Kenmore product /
appliance.
但是, 我个人并不喜欢 Whirlpool, their products / appliances are rather plain
and 大众化, not much innovation. 我到是觉得 现在 Samsung 和 LG offer 更好的
性价比.
A better one is the European brand, Electrolux (Sweden), but they may not
have wide retail and distribution networks in the US, like GE / Whirlpool
and Samsung / LG do.

Personally, I wouldn't buy Kenmore brand, no matter it is made by Whirlpool
or LG or any other name brands.
Think about it.
Here is a true story about store brand products: you know, in those grocery
stores, there are those bagged frozen peas. So, there is this national
famous brand, Green Giant or something (I forgot the actual brand), and
there is the store brand, which is often less expensive. They are actually
made and packaged by the same company and from the same factory. But in
their packaging lines, they have those quality checking and control machines
. They bag the good ones for the name brand, but not so good ones for the
store brand.
One time, a guy (disgruntled employee, I guess) who operated the machine
switched the packaging orders, so the good ones going to the store brand and
the others going to the name brand. And it caused lots of consumer
complaints.
Now, back to Kenmore, one time, I went to Sears, looking for a refrigerator
or something, and I was interested in a particular model that was on sale
and had quite large discount. So, I asked the sales person, but he wouldn’t
recommend it, because that particular model had low quality, and they had
lots of returns, although it was made by Whirlpool and had exact same
specifications as the Whirlpool one next to it.
So, yeah, the store brand is sometimes less expensive, but you get what you
pay for. 一分价钱一分货.

They should have price match / guarantee for 90 days or something. So,
before they deliver your refrigerator, if you find a better price, give
their customer service a call, and I'm sure they will match the lower price.

了。朋友中一个冰箱有问题，一个洗衣机有问题，全都苦不堪言。三星绝对远超。
