Hello all,
As some of you know, U.S. Representative Ed Royce (R-Calif.), who is
Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, is leading the response
from Capitol Hill to the recent complaint your organizations have filed with
the U.S. Department of Justice and U.S. Department of Education regarding
discrimination by Harvard University against Asian-American applicants.
Congressman Royce is circulating a letter to his colleagues to ask for their
signatures by June 19th and will send the letter to the government on June
22nd. A substantial number of Members of Congress signing onto this letter
will show a strong level of support for the complaint and let the Depts. of
Justice and Education know that Congress is watching this issue closely.
