Children
1. I realize I have no ability to accurately gauge how long I've played
because I lose track to time. Therefore, when my mom or dad tell me time's
up, I won't respond with, "What!? But I've only been on for a few minutes! I
'm about to get to the next level! Let me just throw myself off this cliff!
It'll only take one minute! I promise!"
2. I will keep track of how long I play by using a timer that my parents
provide.
3. I won't constantly ask if I can play video games after my parent tells me
no.
4. If told no by one parent, I won't go ask the other parent who doesn't
know what the first parent said.
5. If told no, I will not respond with, "Why?"
6. I won't compare how long my sibling has played with how long I've played.
For example, "But he has gotten so much more screen time than me" will
result in an automatic reduction in play by ten minutes the next time I play.

8. I'll pause the game within one minute after being told my time is up. If
I don't comply with this rule, I understand that my parent will turn off the
screen so that any unsaved progress I lose will be because of my actions,
not because my mom turned off the screen.

10. I won't buy videos or apps without my parents' explicit permission. If I
violate this rule, I understand that I'll be forbidden to play for the next
week without exception and that the amount of the charge will be deducted
from my savings account or allowance.
11. I won't play games or visit websites that my parents have forbidden. If
I do, I understand that I'm in breach of contract and my parents can
restrict my technology access until they believe I have shown I can respect
their terms.

13. I understand that if my grades slip, my game time may be lessened or
revoked to make way for more study. Reinstatement of normal gaming will be
based solely upon my parents' review of my progress and/or effort in regard

When I Can Play
1. I'm not allowed to play during the school week.
2. On weekends, I may play up to 90 minutes per day.
3. During vacations, I may play up to 90 minutes per day. If necessary, to
allow opportunity for others to play, this will be done in 3-0 minutes
segments. I must set the time to keep track of my time.
4. Total playing time includes that use of all gaming devices, iPad, phone,
Xbox, Wii, etc.
5. The weekend is hereby defined as Friday (after school) though Sunday
night.
6. If by Saturday night homework/studying/projects for the upcoming week
have not progressed satisfactorily, all gaming rights for Sunday may/will be
put on hold.
7. On weekend mornings, I'm forbidden to wake up and immediately play. I
must take care of my basic hygiene first, including going to the bathroom,
and brushing my teeth, etc. I must take care of my pet first too. | J*******p

timer我们是早就在用，但是timer 响了以后，娃的反应，简直就和第一部分的第一条
里的一模一样，“Just let me die!" 还好，me 是虚拟世界里的那个。 | n********h
发帖数: 13135 | 4 很好，其实这个对于教育孩子的其他方面都很有用。家长制定非常明确的，但是又比较
合理的规则，然后严格执行。这样最利于培养孩子的自我控制能力。

具体操作起来好象有难度噢。反正我是不知道他们要多久到存盘点，估计娃也未必知道
。
