Every year, thousands of students across the nation are rejected from top-
tier schools and have no idea why. Many have perfect SAT scores and
participate in tons of extra-curricular activities hoping to catch the
attention of admission officers. They hope to appear "well-rounded", and it'
s true colleges like that, but almost all of them are going about it in the
wrong direction. The aim of this service is to guide you towards becoming
the ideal ivy-league candidate.
Last December I was accepted to the Harvard class of 2018. However, I'm not
particularly gifted academically and even terrible at sports. I am by no
means a science Olympiad winner, an international charity founder, or a
football star, but I had an understanding of the application process that
many of my more qualified peers lacked that allowed me to shine out among
the vast sea of applicants.
As a high school student fresh out of the college application process, the
insight I've gained and the lessons I've learned through applying to top-
tier schools is the most relevant and up-to-date available. I'd like to
share with you this knowledge to help you get accepted to the school of your
dreams.
The service will include:
Personal Interview: A one hour discussion between you and I to
evaluate your strengths and weaknesses.
Resume Planning: A one hour session for us to craft a plan that will
allow you to bolster your weaknesses and develop your strengths.
Essay brainstorming: We'll discuss your personal strengths and
together create an essay outline that will make you stand out. Essay prompts
remain relatively the same year after year, so it's never too early to
begin writing. I'll also discuss how you can seamlessly modify an essay to
fit multiple prompts.
4 Essay Revisions: I will provide suggestions on ideas, direction,
structure, and flow. And of course, all revisions will be 100% free of
grammar issues.
SAT planning(not tutoring): In one summer I brought my SAT score up
from 1780 to 2300. I'll teach you the essentials necessary to do the same,
if not better. We'll also discuss SAT subject tests and provide a plan that
will ensure that you score well. The planning comes with the package, but
individual tutoring is $30 an hour.
Whether you'll be applying this fall or still have a few years until you
apply, this college app service will be extremely beneficial to you. Also,
if you don't need all the services provided, any of them can be purchased
individually at a retail price.
