How can it be a bad idea to tell a student she's smart? By praising a child'
s intelligence, we let her know that solve the problems correctly because
she is smart, not because she worked hard. It is then a short step for the
student to infer that getting problems wrong is a sign of being dumb.
...This conclusion should not be taken to mean that these students can
easily catch up. Slow students have the same potential as bright students,
but they probably differ in what they know, in their motivation, in there
persistence in the face of academic setback, and in their self-image as
students. I fully believe that these students can catch up, but it must be
acknowledged that they are far behind, and that catching up take enormous
effort. How can we help?
---Praise effort, not Ability.
---Tell them that hard work pays off
---Treat failure as a nature part of learning
---Don't take study skills for granted
---Catching up is the long-term goal
---Show students that you have confidence in them.

夸奖孩子聪明并不需要认可聪明是能解答问题的充分条件。
反过来讲，即使孩子没能解答出问题，同样可以认可他的智力，
只要指出他没有付出足够努力即可。
从这个角度来看，夸奖孩子聪明反而比夸奖孩子用功更有效，
因为前者隐含着孩子有更大的潜力。

更好，而且鼓励大家用工啊
在家里的话就都夸夸好了，孩子总有聪明的地方

我觉得把它定义成后天的对孩子有更多正面的影响。

俺就一直搞不懂，夸小孩子聪明，小孩子长的漂亮，这些天生的东西，有什么好处。要
碰到更聪明的，更漂亮的，小孩子会有什么心理？
觉得应该夸夸小孩子打扮越来越漂亮/帅，通过学习思考变得越来越来聪明，这些努力
的东西，使养成习惯，更为重要。

我也告诉娃，要想学习好，光聪明还不够，更要认真。他马上举一反三地说，就和龟兔

我实在没办法的时候，就只能用比较来刺激了， XXX怎么样。。。。但是“比较”这个
传统的办法不是很受人唾弃吗？ 所以，我非常的困惑。。

因为孩子成年之后，无论成功或失败，是否接受自己喜欢自己，对他在社会上的立足和
心理健康就非常的重要了。 这个心理能力跟小时候父母对他的认可程度关系非常的密
切。

发帖数: 2328 | 25 你不夸聪明也不夸勤奋，就夸他自己会找乐子不就行了。我娃5岁的时候，自己设计了
个电脑游戏，有规则有美工有配乐，当然很粗浅，我就恨恨的夸她自己会HAVE FUN，她高
兴的不得了。前几天自己写曲子，也是很粗浅的东西，但是她得到了乐趣，我也夸她了
。作为家长，我们只需要往有益的兴趣上引导，剩下的聪明啊勤奋啊，都是这个娃自己
的事情，聪明是天生的，感兴趣了自然勤奋。
