好手边在读这期的Money，刚好有看到标题“when is it worth buying a variable
univeral life policy”,Money 完全不推荐啊。

In general universal life is a big trap to average family. Very very bad
idea.

univeral life insurance. However, people warns against VUL. Do you mistake
UL of VUL?
The tricky parts of univeral life I find so far are guaranteed cash value
within 35 years is a very bad investment, merely a small portion of your
accumulated premium, and both cash value and death benefit go to zero after
35 years. The agent explains it only happens in extreme cases such as
economy is very bad, company file bankrupcy and so on and I should be more
focusing on non-guaranteed part, which I have to admit it is a sweet offer.
My fear is since it is non-guaranteed, thus totally under their own
interpretation at the end of the day. You cannot argue even they cheat.
Do I miss anything? Can you kindly explain a bit more if you happen to know?

钱的。
Metlife的价格算适中吧，不算最便宜的，也不算最贵的
