发帖数: 125 | 1 假期快结束的时候，孩子的第一本小说正式结稿。这还是LZ以一个IPOD TOUCH钓的。当
初说好，如果SPELL BEE第一能代表学校参加全州的比赛，就送个IPOD TOUDCH,结果最
后功亏一篑，拿了个第二。但孩子还是特别想要这个IPOD TOUCH，自己提了个条件，要
写小说，写完后还是要个IPOD TOUCH。LZ当时心里也是狂喜，知道孩子英语的听说读都
还凑合，但一直不知道写作能力怎样，没想到孩子自己提出来了。一台IPD TOUCH能钓
本小说，还是很合算的。家里正好有台空闲的手提，就送孩子当打字机了。
以后每天晚上，都是自己看会电视后就回自己的房间敲打一会。每天平均2到3页纸，周
未的时候就多敲一点。一天始劲头十足，后来就有些懈怠，但LD催得紧，时不时的催一
催，就这样，截稿日期也是从六月推到七月，然后又到八月，终于赶在开学前写完了，
SINGLE SAPCE, 近三百页纸。LZ大约看了一下，内容稍简单了一些，但对于同龄人的心
理还是描写得比较到位的。
贴上一部份请大家看看，有没有找个出版社投投的必要，大家嘴下留情。不行就当孩子
自娱自乐，锻炼一下了。 | D**********s

Jonnie Henderson woke up with a cry and a hurting back. He had once
again fallen of the bed while sleeping. He checked his clock. It was 6:42 in
the morning.
Just then, a slight little knock on the wooden door in Jonnie’s room got
Jonnie’s attention. He slowly walks to the door and asks in a low voice, “
Who is this?” But no answer came.
Jonnie slowly opens the door, but only sees a black hooded figure with a
scythe in a hand. The figure leaped toward Jonnie, the scythe aiming for
Jonnie’s neck.
Jonnie sat up in his bed with a loud scream. He checked the fish-shaped
clock for time. It was only 8:21 in the morning, just another typical
morning in the Henderson residence that rested peacefully in the town of St.
Louis. So Jonnie decided to go crawl under the comfortable cover again, but
his mom, Lily Henderson (Mom), has already heard the scream and opened the
wooden door of Jonnie’s room.
“Jonnie! What happened, tell me! Are you ok?” Mom asked in a very low
voice, while holding on to a spoon.
“It’s just a nightmare Mom, nothing to worry about.”
“Well, in that case, I was just going to remind you that today is the first
day of your 6th grade. If you don’t want to be late, you better get down
there to eat your breakfast and go.”
“Ok! Thanks Mom! I will be right there.”
Jonnie opens up his dresser. He picked out a pair of faded jeans, a black
shirt with a smiley face on it, and a grey jacket. He went to get his phone,
and ran down stairs to eat breakfast. | D**********s
发帖数: 125 | 3 Jonnie found breakfast on the dinning room table. It is pancakes topped
with honey and butter, hot and ready for eating. A cup of chocolate milk is
next to the meal.
“Well, Lily. If you had read the ‘Sweet Breakfast’ that I wrote, you
should know that chocolate milk is not as healthy as 0% white milk. It makes
you fat!” Jonnie’s dad, Josh Henderson (Dad), came out of the bathroom
with a newspaper folded under his armpits.
“So, our sweet little Jonnie likes my chocolate milk better than your 0%
white milk. Am I right Jonnie?” Mom argued, asking Jonnie the question
sweetly at the same time.
“About the part with the chocolate milk is better than white milk is
true. But Mom, please stop calling me sweet little Jonnie. I am just plain
Jonnie.” Jonnie answered with impatience in his tone, apparently completely
annoyed by Mom’s question. “But if you want to, you can call me the
Jonnie the Cool.”
“Ok, whatever you say.” Mom said. “But hurry up with your breakfast,
the bus is going to be here in about…lets see…fifteen minutes. You will be
late if you don’t hurry!”
“Odday.” Jonnie said, stuffing his face with pancakes and chocolate
milk.
Splash! As the cup of chocolate milk slipped in Jonnie’s hand,
chocolate milk splashed the front of Jonnie completely, his jacket, shirt,
and some of his pants, which made Jonnie looks like that he peed in his
pants.
“Arrrgh!” Jonnie cried out in surprise. “Mom! I think I need some
napkin!”
“What is happening to you now, Jonnie?” Mom called as she looked up
from her cooking. She gasped as she sees what Jonnie has done and checked
the watch. “No more time for you to change your cloths. The bus is here in
about three minutes. You have to go!”
Jonnie wanted to protest, but he restrained himself. Arguing with the
CEO of a clothing company is not a really good choice.
Jonnie went to grab his backpack and rushed out of the door, saying
goodbye to his parents, who were already at the door, waiting for Jonnie.
“Have a nice day at school.” Dad said expressionlessly, thinking about
a book about his son’s 6th grade life.
“Here’s your lunch, I packed a surprise meal in there. Oh, and I
forgot, I want to hear everything that has happened at school today when you
gets back!” Mom said with a half excited and half serious look on her face
, meaning that she meant what she said.
“Yeah. Bye.” Jonnie said as he ran down the drive way, waving his hand
behind him as saying goodbye. | D**********s
发帖数: 125 | 4 The second Jonnie saw what was going on inside the bus, he became scared:
kids throwing pieces of cakes across the bus; kids standing up and fighting;
some kids are having a rubber band war, shooting rubber bands everywhere;
and worst of all, the driver is not even paying attention, he is listening
to music on his ipod and shaking his head with the beat.
I’m not a really a rule-keeper myself, but this is way over the line.
How in the world am I going to make it through this? Jonnie thought. This is
just like a prison without bars! I am going to tell Dad to drive me to
school tomorrow! Jonnie thought as he walked down the isle, trying to find a
normal kid to sit next to.
Finally, he saw a boy sitting by himself, reading a comic book. Jonnie
took the chance and sat next to him.
Nothing really happened on the bus besides getting smacked in the face
with a piece of chocolate cake and got hit several time on the back of his
head with some rubber bands. Nothing compared to what happened to some other
kids at least! Jonnie thought as he walked down the bus as it docked down
on the sidewalk of Sunnyside Middle School.
What kind of middle school name is that? Jonnie thought as he walked
into the front door of his new school. | D**********s

the crowd. He searched for his name on the six white papers what is covered
with black words and found his name on Mrs. Turner’s paper, which is a
really bad news, horrible news actually, since last year’s 6th graders
voted that Mrs. Turner is the meanest of all the 6th grade teachers. They
say that Mrs. Turner gives a referral just for speaking when not supposed to
. Once, she sent the whole class besides a girl to the principle’s office
for not knowing the answer to a 8th grade question.
As people say, good things always come after bad things, Jonnie also
found Marco, Sammy, and Elizabeth’s name on the same list. But bad news
always strolls around Jonnie. He also found Holly, Marvin, and Charley on
the same list. Man, now I have to face that stupid, stubborn, and selfish
Holly again. Why does she even hates me anyways? I remember that she even
liked me in 2nd grade. Then Marvin came and she started to like him. I think
that the reason she hates me is because that I called her a nerd once in
front of the whole class when she was representing a really long and boring
essay she wrote. She is such a ‘teachers pet’, always doing what the
teacher tells her to do, everything! Jonnie thought confusedly as he walked
toward his homeroom. Why am thinking about this anyways, I should be
thinking about how to…
Jonnie never got to finish his thoughts. He yelled in pain as he bumped
head-on with an open door, bumping his head on the very edge of the door,
giving himself a bloody nose. | e*****o

As Jonnie stepped into the classroom, he noticed something immediately. The
tables are putted four to a group. All other teacher he had in his life
putted the table into rows instead of groups.
In the farthest corner of the room, away from the front and the teacher’s
desk, sat three familiar heads. Two boys and one girl, all have hair darker
than the night sky.
Jonnie walked over to the group. “Hey guys!” Jonnie said as he sat in the
last desk.
“You are late today.” Sammy, who is one of Jonnie’s best friends, said as
he tries to stuff a bag of Doritos into his lunch box. “That is pretty
unusual.”
“Yeah. You are usually the earliest one.” Marco smiled wickedly. “Unlike
some one that looks like a penguin that is sitting at this table right now,
who always comes last, you are usually the first.”
“What did you say? I’m not like someone that always stutters.” Fought
Sammy.
“You heard what I said. Penguin!”
“Hippo!”
“Penguin!”
“Ignore them. Just tell me why are you late.” Elizabeth asked. She is
Marco’s girlfriend, really pretty. “But they both got a point though.”
“Ok. So I got to school and can’t find this classroom before the bell rang
. You know, the room numbers are all mixed up.” Jonnie glanced with hatred
in his eyes as he explained the situation. “Then Mrs. Turner came by and I
didn’t know that it was her. I asked her for the classroom and she warned
me for being late as a teacher. Then she made me write an essay as my
teacher. I argued and she gave me referral for that.”
“Poor Jonnie.” Sammy commented in the middle of his battle with Marco. “
And Mrs. Turner is way to mean to be a teacher. She should work in a prison
or something, torturing the prisoners.”
“For once, I agree with Penguin.” Marco stated.
“Alright, quiet down class. I am your 6th grade homeroom teacher: Mrs.
Turner and I expect you to follow the rules. Or you will end up like Jonnie
over there with essays to write, or worse. So, do your best enjoy the year
you are with me and let’s get the class started.”
And the torture begins.
After the first period, Homeroom, which is also Language Arts, everyone in
the class is moaning, even students like Vanessa and Marvin, who are on the
top of the Class Nerd List.
“I can’t believe that Mrs. Turner made Holly moan. I have never ever seen
any teacher did that before. It was amazing.” Jonnie said as he walked out
the classroom, amazed by what Holly did after the class. “But why did she
give us the same treatment. She made us write a 6-page-long essay about
rabbits. She is like the human form of evil.”
“Too true. Only too true.” Grumbled Marco, who has nothing to do with
anything that includes study. He is just the team captain of the school’s
soccer, basketball, and football team. Always busy. “And this is just the
beginning. She will eventually get to the hard part and make us all go the
principle’s office.”
“And for once, I agree with Hippo.” Stated Sammy. “She is the worst
teacher you can ever find. Why did the school even hire her?”
“Stop calling me Hippo! Penguin!” Yelled Marco.
“Hippo!” Sammy countered.
“Penguin!”
“Can you two please stop with all that stuff? My head is spinning!” Jonnie
said looking at Sammy and Marco. “It’s bad enough that I have an extra
essay to write!”
“Ok, ok.” Said Sammy and Marco at the same time.
“Jinx!” Sammy yelled in Marco’s face.
“Man, that’s childis- Ouch!” Marco jumped as Sammy punched him on the
shoulder.
“No speaking; no talking; no whispering; no voice from your mouth or I will
punch you!” Sammy said with a wide grin.
“Fin-Ouch! Quit tha-Ouch!” Marco yelled.
“So, who do we have next, we only have 2 more minutes to get to class!”
Jonnie said nervously. “I don’t want to be late and get another essay to
write.”
“Don’t worry. We have Mr. Jonathan next. He wears some glasses that are
like 2 cm thick. And he is the nicest teacher ever. Instead of giving essays
, he gives you cookies.” Elizabeth answered, trying hard not to laugh as
she thought about what Jonnie’s face will look like if he gets another
essay to write.
“Well then, lead the way Ms. Smartypants!” Jonnie said with a show of
relieve on his face. Half because that he probably won’t have to write
another essay and half because one of his friends is normal.
“You guys are the earliest students I ever had. Before the bell rang. Good
job! All the rest of them came to my class about 10 minutes after the bell
rings.” Mr. Jonathan said happily. “Here. You guys will get two cookies
each for being early!”
Mr. Jonathan pulled a giant lunch box out of his bag and brought out 6 giant
cookies. Each the size of Jonnie’s hand. All dotted with chocolate and M&
Ms. “Here, fresh out of the oven this morning. Go on, try it!”
“But I thought that we are not allowed to eat in class.” Jonnie said,
eyeing Mr. Jonathan suspiciously.
“Who cares, all I know is that we got cookies.” Sammy said. He was
already finished with his second cookie and was licking his mouth. “I will
have it if you don’t want it.”
“I never said I don’t want it.” Jonnie growled at Sammy.
“It’s ok to eat in my class.” Mr. Jonathan said with a kind smile on his
face. “I think that children your age is in your growing part of your life,
you should eat and sleep as you need. However, that privilege is only
available if you clean up after yourselves.”
“Ok. That sounds fair. Not like the Mrs. Turner.” Jonnie murmured, hoping
Mr. Jonathan can’t hear him.
“I too, don’t like Mrs. Turner. She is mean, rude, cold-hearted, and
selfish. She is a very bad example for a teacher.” Mr. Jonathan said as he
heard Jonnie’s murmurings.
“Really?” Asked Jonnie suspiciously, afraid that this is a joke.
“Really.” Mr. Jonathan answered with a nod.
“Who cares about all that! Lets just have a sit and get the class started.
” Sammy yelled, feeling all bored with all the talking. “By the way, are
you sure that you want those cookies?”
“Yes I Do.” Jonnie answered as he walked toward a seat while taking a
testing bite out of the cookie.
“This is the best cookie I ever tasted! The smooth taste of the chocolate
and the crunchy M&Ms plus the soft center and the crunchy outside of the
cookie mixed together with a slight but sweet scent of cinnamon.” Jonnie
yelled in delight as he swallowed the cookie.
“Here, have another one for tasting the cinnamon. You are the first one to
discover that!” Mr. Jonathan said as he pulled another cookie out. “And I
loved the description you give. Thank you for liking it!”
“What! He is getting another cookie?” Sammy cried. “That’s not fair! I
want another one, too!”
“Sorry kid, you are not the one that discovered the secret taste.” Mr.
Jonathan said as he winked at Jonnie.
“Man… ” Sammy grumbled.

出第一本的时候比较新鲜，到处找亲戚朋友，另外也搞了些促销，
有一两百本，曾经在Amazon销量靠前；
第二本就算了，自己也只买了四本送人，所以总共卖了几十本。

现在10岁啊，NaNo又快到了，这次听说打算写剧本。
去年PTA作文比赛在学校得了第三名；前三名参加县里比赛，
结果得了第二；县里前两名拿到省里，在省里得了第一。
全国的比赛就名落孙山了。
以后做什么都可以，就是不要当作家或者艺术家，还是吃饭要紧。
希望大家买书支持，一杯咖啡钱，支持一下小孩子。

发帖数: 125 | 35 这个还真没想过。孩子的电脑虽然是手提，但LZ没有让孩子上网，到不是怕孩子作弊，
只是怕上网会影响孩子的学习和看书。平常只是看孩子戴着耳机，爬在桌子上敲打。而
且写得这些东西还是挺简单的，比孩子平时看的那些书要简单很多。比如第一章中，感
觉就下面这一段对COOKIE的描述还有点难度。说实话，孩子能写出来LZ就觉得很惊讶了。
“This is the best cookie I ever tasted! The smooth taste of the chocolate
and the crunchy M&Ms plus the soft center and the crunchy outside of the
cookie mixed together with a slight but sweet scent of cinnamon.” Jonnie
yelled in delight as he swallowed the cookie.

国内上完四年级上学期过来，所以听说读都没什么问题，但写到退很多，很多常用的词
都不会写了，这有点愁人。想让孩子平常写中文日记，但不太听使唤了。
