带儿子上音乐课，老师是一位年轻的白人女子, 名叫Carey Goldenberg。课上只有7-8
名孩子，我儿总是最后一个被点起来玩游戏，时间不够时，就不让我儿玩。儿子难过地

诉。兔子急了也咬人。当歧视发生在孩子身上时，我发现自己悲愤至极，容忍度为零。
我发誓，一定要教训这老师。下周我会和学校谈。肯求大家出谋！如何用英语表达？多

the teachers we met are very friendly and professional. This is the first

Even if my son raised his hand and stood in front of her three times today,
Ms. Carey didn't give him a chance to participate. My son felt upset when he
did not get opportunity in any game. He started to act silly and wanted to
go home.
I think teachers need to include everyone in the class, no matter what. All
kids should have equal opportunities.

不过友情提醒一下，情绪化的结论需要多一些客观事实来支撑才更有说服力
否则的话，太主观的个人感受相对不那么容易得到理解和支持
有歧视倾向的上司也许还觉得是你太敏感
多列举一些事实，比如你说的你儿子总是最后一个被点到做游戏
时间不够的时候他就没机会了这种就是很好的例子
你信里面应该要提到的

result of that he was quite upset when the lesson ended.
We feel that it is very beneficial if each student in the group lesson gets
equal opportunities to act and perform, and we are sure that it is also the
teacher’s intend during lessons. (xxx) has (say some improvements since he
joined the class), and we feel if he could get a little bit more exposure to
the whole class during lessons it will help him progress faster.

好像应该用数字说话吧。你们上了几堂课？每次都是这样吗？你还在每次都举手，都
被Ignore吗？如果10堂课，7次都这样，的确老师不好。如果只有5堂课，两堂课这样
，好像是可以给老师个机会改改。不过，有不满意说出来挺好。

太宠小孩不好，小孩要能够承受一定的被忽视和沮丧的感觉。你应该鼓励小孩自己去跟
老师用语言表述自己的情感，要小孩去跟老师说想玩游戏，想多参与活动，而不是以做

根据bhf的改了一下，我觉的应该直奔主题。不要罗嗦太多，态度要明确，想看到什么
要明确。英语不好，内容上也觉的还应该再加点什么。切磋一下吧。

until Mrs. Carey Goldenberg became the music teacher of my son.
As (son’s name) began to complain about the class, I went to school today
to observe the class. I noticed that although he raised his hands multiple
times in the class, Mrs. Carey Goldenberg never picked him for the game
unless all other kids had played. And when there was not enough time for the
game, he was always the one that had to skip the game, or stopped in the
middle of the game. And this situation persisted throughout the class. He
said to me sadly after it: mom, I want to play the games as other kids did.
And I totally understand his feeling.
Every student in the group lesson shall get equal opportunities to act and
perform. We don't want our son get "extra" opportunities to play game in the
class, but we hope he is treated equally with other kids in this class. We
would like to know what actions the school take to correct the situation; we
want to see a formal apology letter from Mrs Goldenberg. We will keep on
top of it, and reserve our rights for further actions if the situation
persists.

all the letter above are too long, and not to the point.
if you want to complain about something, your complaint is your first
sentence and the subject line. Backed by facts, not your "understanding" or
"feeling".
You history with the school is background only. No need to even mention it,
let alone spending the whole first paragraph for it. In any writing, the
first sentence is most important, so use it for the most important message.

我也觉得没有必要一开始就写抱怨信可以鼓励孩子去主动和老师交流一下下课了跑去
NICELY ASK老师我很希望能够参加活动或者回答问题 NEXT TIME可以PICK我吗？
你也可以先暗示一下你的不满意但是面带笑容
如果经过一些尝试老师的态度没有改变再做投诉好了

这信我看的话只看出来只有这节课是这种情况，那么是否只是偶然呢？有时候我女儿
上游泳课也有某些次老师总是按特定顺序指导，导致那节课她每次都是最后一个，或者
有时候有轮不到的情况，但只要不是每次这样应该就没问题啊。。。至少如果我是校长
的话只看这封信会觉得是你在小题大作。
所以我觉得如果情况真的是“每次都这样”，那么你应该多强调不止一节课是这样而且
提供具体事件的说明，持续了多长时间等等来强调歧视的严重性，或者指出你曾经与老
师沟通没有成功或者老师态度不好等等，而如果你只是看了这节课的情况是这样的话，
证据应该还不太够，不能就一节课的情况说老师歧视。
其实每个老师也是人，肯定有preference的，比较professional的会比较注意，让每个
孩子都有机会，但比较随意的有时候就会给比较active的，表达比较好的孩子更多机会
，那也是正常的。孩子抱怨老师没有给足够机会也是比较经常的事，有时不一定是事
实，我觉得我们家长还是先平常心对待，多调查下，尽量做到客观公正。
