如果只是比interesting, 那也可以让妈妈拍着孩子唱着歌睡觉
围棋的意义远远超过这些，我只是把围棋和数学结合，提高美国孩子的数学能力
也不是要去抢 video games 的生意

Go can improve math skill? Perhaps logical and cognitive thinking skill

下围棋各方面能力都有锻炼，尤其是底层的数感 Number sense
数学的大厦，都是建立在 Number Sense 之上的

我从前也是下围棋，从来就没有思考这些问题，
也是后来才意识到，并且逐渐发展出围棋数学体系的。

and subtraction?
At most, you use some simple arithmetic in Go game. THere is no algebra,
geometry, trigonometry, calculus, number theory, probability, topology.

你说的高级的东西，围棋也有覆盖，但是不是最根本的。

俺好像一点紧张的感觉都没有。
我给小学中学上围棋课大约1个小时，给 college 上围棋课是 4 个小时
内容上足够多覆盖。
目前是个 niche，希望我给美国数学老师普及之后，能够让围棋数学在全美铺开。

不过她比较偏重于纵向的课程培训，我偏重于横向的大众普及
我的工作做好了，她的日子就会更好过了
不过我的工作做好了，最受益的是美国的数学教育界。

不过我倒不觉的number sense是数学的基础
当然围棋的普及是好事儿，我觉的比象棋复杂多了 |
