都没抽上），难免又嘀咕一下。
大家讨论一下两种的优劣吧。 |

They are public schools as normal. No special requirement to enter the
school though.

If you want your kid to go to a European college in England or France or
Germany, join the IB school.
P.S. I thought no GT program in high school for most U.S. high schools. |

are not stick with the IB program.

just like everybody else. my understanding is, IB is a plus, not an
alternative

content. BTW, is your gifted a class or a school?

IB school over gifted.
The gifted is 2 min drive, IB school is 20 min away, but on the way to my
work. Tough decision...

gifted children all should pass test, parents pushy academically.

Only less than 10 kids graduated from IB program each year in my area.

While, gifted programs not teach you extra courses, it is kind of play and
learn about something outside of school courses.
Again, it is how it works in our area.

There are only two IB high school in my area. One of them is full gifted
school + IB school.
IB program is not that specail. It just a program ask you to take more
courses over more areas.

IB school here in St. Louis is just a school which will provide IB program.
Only small percentage of students in the school are attend the IB program.
Anyway, if a student can stick with the IB program, he/she must be a gifted
student.
If you are sure your kid will be in the IB program, I think you should go
ahead to accept this one.
