I noticed that the wheels of the cannon were not proportional. And he argued
that since the cannon was not made in China, allowable variations between
the two wheels are accepted.

I think he read the children's edition of Odyssey and Iliad. In addition he
has an interest in Greek and Roman mythology.
He attended a Chinese after school, which has drawing group lessons once a
week. His teacher is pretty good.
