Positions
Quantitative Analyst
We are looking for an exceptional quantitative analyst to join our research
team. As a core member of the team, the successful candidate will utilize
superior research abilities and software development skills to help design
and implement real-time portfolio construction algorithms and trading
strategies.
Ideal candidates must have at least two years’ working experience with
proven success in writing production-quality software in Java or C++ , and
demonstrate strong quantitative skills including knowledge in numerical
computation. The successful candidate will also have an advanced degree in a
quantitative subject such as computer science, mathematics, or physics.
Familiarity with scripting language such as Perl and Python is a plus.
Finance experience will be helpful, but is not required.
Senior Java Developers
We are seeking experienced Java developers to join our software development
team. Successful candidates will combine software development skills and
project management skills to help deliver trading systems with high
performance, availability, scalability and reliability.
The success of our team will be measured in terms of effective collaboration
to achieve timely delivery of projects. To fulfill this goal, we require
candidates to have at least five years' professional experience in
developing multi-threaded Java applications, and to have knowledge in Linux,
database, messaging and FIX engine. We will highly value candidates' prior
experience in developing real-time trading systems. All of our current
software development team members have bachelor's or advanced degrees in
computer science, we expect candidates to have similar educational profiles.
Junior Java Developers
We are seeking junior Java developers to join our software development team.
Successful candidates will utilize software development skills to help
deliver trading systems with high performance, availability, scalability and
reliability. As junior team members, candidates will be expected to take
growing responsibilities.
Candidates should have at least two years' professional experience in
developing multi-threaded Java applications, and can work with Linux and
database. Understandings of messaging and FIX engine are pluses. Prior
experience in developing real-time trading systems will be highly valued.
All of our current software development team members have bachelor's or
advanced degrees in computer science, we expect candidates to have similar
educational profiles.
System Administrator
We are seeking an experienced system administrator to join our team. The
successful candidate will manage a growing enterprise computing environment
that includes Linux and Windows based workstations/servers, and high-
performance storage and networking units.
We expect candidates to have at minimum a bachelor’s degree and five years
’ relevant experience. Certificates such as Cisco Certified Network
Associate (CCNA) and Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are pluses.
The successful candidate needs to be skilled in all aspects of enterprise
computing, including the following:
• Desktop, server, storage and networking hardware
• Debian-based Linux administration
• Microsoft Windows Server 2008 administration
• Microsoft Windows 7 desktop administration
• Network design and administration
• Database administration
• Firewall management
• RAID
• Managed switches
Our operation depends on the availability, scalability and reliability of
our computer systems. Therefore, our system administrator should have
excellent planning abilities and superior trouble-shooting skills. We will
highly value any prior experience in administrating enterprise environment
