We employ a broad range of integrated modern techniques in molecular biology, biochemistry, cellular biology, high-throughput functional genomics, and cutting-edge mouse genetics (transgenic and knockout mouse models). Our novel research program is currently well
funded by the prestigious Ellison Medical Foundation New Scholar Award in Aging and National Institute of Health Director’s New Innovator Award.
Highly motivated individuals with a Bachelor or Master's degree in biology and an interest in pursuing a PhD degree in biomedical research are encouraged to apply. Previous research experience and strong laboratory skills would be a big plus. The Jackson Laboratory has joint PhD programs with The University of Maine Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (GSBS)and Sackler School of Graduate Biomedical Sciences of Tufts University.
