cancel了第二天的prelim，叫俺回去再准备一个月再说。搞得committee里其他四个老
师很不满意，耽误时间。
下次你也提前跟老板沟通好，把握大些。 |

这个纯粹是找茬儿的，和老板好好谈谈吧。
据我以前的老板说，一般情况下，prelim根本不是在乎你当时考的怎么样，而是你
committee是不是想给你过。还没开始，他们就已经做了决定了。通常是因为对个人/或
老板有意见，拿学生来撒撒气，捏咕捏咕的。
和老板/committe再沟通沟通，下次就没问题了。我们系有阵子老板们心情不好，几个
月之内连着fail了5，6个人，过了那个风头就又没事儿了。

However, I really have no other road to go.
I have quit/been kicked out of PhD study twice, and got kicked out of D-
school once.
It seems a doctor's degree is just far away, no matter PHD or DMD.
I have been here for almost 10 years, and, I really want a doctor's degree
to go back home.
That is why I still stay here with thick face.
