C.C. Li was born in 1912. From 1932 to 1936 he attended the
University of Nanking to study agronomy. He pursued genetics
further by obtaining his Ph.D. in plant breeding and
genetics from Cornell University in 1940, but he also
trained in mathematics and statistics at the University of
Chicago, Columbia University, and North Carolina State |
