i recently joined a group called Recreation Time Network (Newark,DE) on
meetup.com. there is some description of this group at the end of this
thread. i am currently organizing two events -- "Let's Play Tennis!
Thursdays" and "Let's Play Tennis! Sundays". you can join us by going to

This group is about get together and live a healthy, active, productive, and
fun-filled life through indoor and ourtdoor recreational sports and
activites such as:
Volleyball, tennis, table tennis, badminton, frisbee, soccer, flagged
football, walking, hiking, trail run, biking, horse back riding, rock
climbing, etc.
Most of our events will be in Delaware and nearby regions, we will also do
some day trips such as ski, kayaking, camping, hiking, fishing, whitewater
rafting, etc.
There will have some fun social events come along as well such as after game
happy hours, brunch, BBQ, picnics, movies, wine tasting, or community
events.
