the downtown Philly. Cherry Hill, NJ could be one of your choices. It's
close to the Chinese and Korea grocery store.

back to NJ if I work overtime? How much does it normally cost? Does it have monthly pass?

发帖数: 3845 | 9 PATCO is much safer than Philadelphia subway, but I seldom take train in the
evening. I wouldn't recommend you do so because there are some wanderers on
the streets and in the tunnel. If you always work overtime, no matter where
you eventually live, safety is always a concern.
There is no monthly pass for Patco. It's around $2.xx one way depends on
which station you get off. Your employer might have some plan so you can pay
the tickets using pre-tax money.

One more question. Before what time is normally safe to take PATCO at night?
I don't think I will always
work overtime, but will do sometimes. Will you recommend driving to work?

is downtown the same as center city of philly? if so, i think:
1229 chestnut street
there is an apartment named adelphia house.
i think the rent is ok compared with other apartments nearby.
convenient(chinatown, many stores and in the center city) and safe. (based
on my experience about 4 months living there)

发帖数: 3845 | 12 It's hard to say. There was one time I had dinner at Chinatown and took the
train at around 8:30pm at 8th Market, there were still a lot of people.
There was another time after a concert at Kimmel Center (at around 10pm),
there was nobody around the train station at 12 & 13th Locust. If your
company offers free parking, driving to work is not bad. Otherwise, I
personally don't recommend it.
