pre-rooted-update
I’ve provided rbox with the latest update package and, in record time, he
has released his pre-rooted version. You can download it from the custom ROM
page at AFTVnews.com/roms. Be warned that he notes having trouble playing
Netflix videos with this update. If you have similar issues and can’t live
without Netflix, you can always simply downgrade back to the previous
version until the issue is sorted out. Be sure to let us know in the
comments your experience with this update and the new Netflix app. For a
list of changes brought by this update, see my overview post. As always, you
can follow my guide to install this custom ROM using ClockworkMod Custom
Recovery. |

標題非常的誤導人。這只是對已經root跟裝了custom recovery的人可以更新到最新的
fire tv firmware而不會喪失root。對於沒有root也被更新到不能root版本的人來說，
一點用也沒有。

fire TV用沙发桌面或管家，有时候会没反应，或启动不了，必须清理内存才好使。

当然你什么都不玩就不需要了。
不过我老买了到现在就用了一个小时，当玩具买的，但又没时间玩了。

1) install time zone changer so I can sync time to Beijing time. All
Chinese apps will show correct programming.
2) install hola unblocker so that I can watch tablet version of youku/tudou
directly.
3) easy to install apps/update apps from shafa apps without constantly
getting latest apps from shafa stores then install again. |
