Try this trick:
1. Connect to usb charger/cable and wait until data connection mode sign is
shown on the lower display.
2. Unplug the usb cable.
3. When the data connection sign disappears immediately reconnect the
charger cable.
4. Wait 20 seconds and the model number followed by the loading maps are
shown.
