These days millions Apps are available on Android OS. Why would people buy
chomebook for the limited Apps ?
Microsoft has put windows8 on tablet with both x86 and ARM CPU. Google could
do the same thing for Android. Make a laptop(surface kind of design) with
Android OS, optionally with touch screen, and put open office type of Apps
on it.
This will create big performance demand for ARM CPU, which will give big
opportunity to all ARM chip companies, Qualcomm, Samsung, Nvidia and TI and
etc. Rumor says that Apple will consider to put its ARM chip in MacAir. If
this is the case, Intel will gradually lose its laptop market. | d*****0

Tablet UI is very different than laptop UI.
Usually an application in the tablet takes all screen space. Laptop UI
allows all applications to be run in any size of a window, and open multiple
windows.
That's why I said it is the similar product like Microsoft Surface, but come
with Android.
Someday, the hardware could be more close to standard PC, then it can
install Android or WindowsRT or Linux or whatever(like what we have for PC
these days).
