As for myself, I don't think I will get another Android phone. I have seen
enough of Android. My Epic only get updated once by Samsung and it is
already two generations behind on its OS. It is really unrealistic to expect
Samsung (or any OEM) and Sprint (or any carrier) to keep up with Google all
the time and every time.
My next phone will be a Win8 or IPhone 5. |

generally not given any guarentee that their phone will be continuously

Combined with most people do not pay for apps on Android, retention will be
even worse.

for my relative low end phone, 2.3.7 does not make much sense.
for apple fans, they do not care. if the phone gets updated, they
