“ - I just got off the phone with a SMB rep about my order. CSR told me
that a mass e-mail would be sent out to the lucky 25k people that made the
Monday 8/22/2011 4AM CST cutoff. The lucky ones who made it should get the
email by the end of 8/31/2011. IF YOU DID NOT MAKE THE CUTOFF: You will be
getting a slightly different e-mail stating that they are manufacturing
another 52K and it will take 6-8 weeks for delivery.
----So far many of us (perhaps all of us?) have not received the mass email
mentioned above. (not suprising with the way things are going with HP).
There are mixed reports...some say even if you made the Monday cutoff, you
still might have to wait 6-8 weeks. Others say CSRs have told them they will
be shipping to those before the cutoff within the next week. Fingers
crossed...big bucks! no wammies! ”
